Gloucester was founded by the Romans back in 79CE, but the first recorded mentions of the town – now a cathedral city – date back to Anglo-Saxon times.

The Crecy Window Gloucester Cathedral was installed in the 1350s and measures 22 metres in height and 12 metres in width, making it around the same size as a tennis court.
