The Kielder 13mm Drill Driver is just that, offering ease of use and lots of life from a single charge. It’s well-balanced, compact and light, so it can be used by anyone who wants to drill through very tough material – including the bodywork on a vehicle. The drill bits can get through metals such as stainless steel, steel, non-ferrous metals and various alloys.

Long battery life

The Kielder 13mm Drill Driver can retain a single charge for up to 12 months, which means it’s always ready for smaller jobs throughout the year. AutoAdvisor can offer its customers the option of one 2.0Ah battery, two 2.Ah batteries or one 4.0Ah battery, depending on how much drilling you’re planning to do in the near future.

Unless you order the bare unit, you’ll also get four cobalt (high speed steel with 8% added cobalt for wear-resistance and strength) drill bits at 8mm, 6mm, 5mm and 4mm. These drill bits are specially engineered to prevent “wandering” along the material surface when in use and the different widths mean you can use the narrower bits to make place-markers for the larger holes created by the wider bits.

A powerful motor in a compact unit

The Kielder 13mm drill driver has a brushless motor, which means more of the power gets to the drill bits rather than being lost through friction. The drill also has an electronic braking system so it’ll stop almost instantly when you need it to, making it suitable for precision work.

The chuck in the Kielder drill is very robust and you’ll also get the benefit of a two-speed gearbox and a multi-speed trigger for even more control over your drilling.

Comfortable and reliable

On the ergonomics side of things, you’ll find the over-moulded handgrip very comfortable and secure so that your hands don’t get fatigued while you’re working. The driver unit comes equipped with a sturdy and secure belt clip, so you’ll be able to carry it around and at just 2kg, it shouldn’t be too heavy a load.

The Kielder 13mm drill driver also has an integral LED light in the base of the handgrip so you can see what you’re doing even in poorly-illuminated situations or in tight, dark spaces – like the corner of your garage, for example…
